Dimitrios
Hatzisavas, Composer, Instrumentalist, Producer, and Audio Engineer got
his first taste of life in the music industry at age 16, when he picked
up guitar and began performing with various rock and blues cover bands
in his native Greece.
His formal music training began in
Greece, where he studied privately under various well-respected
instructors. For a time, Dimitrios had students of his own; working as
a highly sought after teacher to supplement his income.
It
wasn't long before Dimitrios realized he had to expand his musical
horizons. He did just that by enrolling in the notable Berklee College
of Music of Boston in 1998, as a Guitar Performance major. Soon after,
Dimitrios knew that his true calling was behind the scenes in music
production. He completed his BA in Contemporary Writing and Production
and won the prestigious Alex Ulanowski Award (a top award in the
Harmony Department at Berklee).
At present, Dimitrios is writing and producing for a multitude of
production companies: Fresh Music, ABACO and Boosey & Hawkes- to
name a few. His work has been featured in many television productions,
such as “The Investigators,” “Access Hollywood,” “Saturday Night Live,”
“The Tonight Show,” “Time Warp Trio,” “The Late Show w/ David
Letterman,” and “The Jeff Corwin Experience."
Dimitrios has partnered with Richard Khuzami, Yiannis
Anastasopoulos, and Rameses at Dahdoo Productions, Inc. He is currently
overseeing engineering and production on several projects, soon to be
released. His invaluable talent, keen prospective and curricular
experiences have all been instrumental to the success of Dahdoo
Productions and will continue to be in the future. |
